Literacy for Learning – Wollongong, Apr 2018

Another highly successful Literacy for Learning Tutor Training in Wollongong, led by our consultant Lynette Lingard.

This course has been extremely rewarding and allowed for reflection on my teaching practice. All modules were beneficial in allowing all KLW teachers to see the importance of successfully using literacy within their programs and assessment. Grace Settineri, English Teacher, St Benedict’s Catholic College Oran Park

The course has been really helpful for myself as a teacher. I now know more about literacy and will be able to teach my students so much better. I am sure our school will benefit also. Elise Battin, Teacher, Holy Spirit College

The content has left me empowered and I feel it has given me the language for better aid and elevate my students. Jason Miszczyszyn, Teacher, Magdalene Catholic High School

Very logical, cohesive, detailed and supported by outstanding resources and practical activities. It was so well presented, engaging, well-paced and practical with many opportunities for discussion and collaboration. Michael Rochester, HSIE Teacher, St John The Evangelist, Nowra

I now have a much better understanding of how to break things down, explain my feedback and improve our teaching and learning cycle. Alison Shortridge, Learning Support Coordinator, Magdalene Catholic High School

robably the most valuable course I’ve ever undertaken. It was great! Joanne Baker, Literacy Coordinator, St Benedict’s Catholic College

This course made me feel as if I’m able to incorporate literacy in my programs in a systematic way. Thank you Lynette for your capable and excellent delivery. Julie Leahy, Literacy Coordinator, Holy Spirit College

Excellent course content as it shows the ‘what’ but more importantly, the ‘how’ and ‘why’. Lorraine Ramchandra, Curriculum Coordinator, John Therry Catholic High School

Really enjoyed the content, especially Module 2 onwards. Some light bulb moments in terms of developing literacy to students. A fantastic 4 days. Bill Barry, PDHPE Coordinator, St John the Evagelist Nowra

Excellent course. Lynette was an excellent and personable presenter. Such a valuable experience. Invaluable to myself as a teacher and to my students. Will be invaluable to my school as a whole. Amazing presenter. Susan Surreau
