Lexis Education Symposium | 28 Nov 2024 | Melbourne

Lexis Education is pleased to invite you to a one-day professional learning symposium on Thursday 28 November 2024 at the Savoy Hotel on Little Collins in Melbourne’s CBD (630 Little Collins St, Melbourne VIC 3000).

Over more than two decades, Lexis Education has worked in many educational contexts around the world, promoting an explicit pedagogy based on the functional model of language. With over five thousand tutors world-wide, covering our four courses (TEMC, 3L, TYCEMC and HLW), we can safely assume that many educators across the globe share that belief. It is thus with much excitement that we are organising our first ever symposium in Melbourne, Australia.

At this professional learning event, you can expect to:

  • reflect on the successes and challenges of implementing an explicit language-based pedagogy in primary and secondary settings
  • share best practices and discuss future directions
  • network and collaborate with other educators.
PROGRAM

The symposium will run from 8.30am to 3.30pm and will be followed by celebratory drinks and canapés from 3.30pm to 4.30pm.

Full program will be announced in September 2024.

TICKETS ARE LIMITED TO 60 SO MAKE SURE YOU BOOK IN ADVANCE TO AVOID MISSING OUT.
