Laurie Holden is a qualified teacher, leader, trainer and consultant with over 25 years’ experience in the exciting field of international education. She has worked in diverse, multilingual primary, secondary and post-secondary academic environments, with students aged three to adult. Her professional background is in education, with official endorsements in child development, English language, reading & literacy. Laurie is currently based just outside of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. She has a deep understanding of international school contexts.
Laurie has been a contributing author and tutor trainer for Lexis Education since 2019 and has served as a Lexis course facilitator since 2013, assisting 70+ educators to successfully achieve Lexis course certification. She specializes in implementing strategic, whole-school approaches to the development of academic language across the curriculum in order to maximize outcomes for all students. In addition, Laurie enjoys authoring digital and print learning content for both students and educators, and continues to actively develop her passion and skills in the area of technology in education.
